Safety distance of LPG storage tank
The safe distance of liquefied petroleum gas is based on the outer wall of the storage tank and is related to the total design capacity of the gas station and the capacity of the single tank.
1. when the total volume of the gas station is less than or equal to 50 cubic meters and the volume of a single tank is less than or equal to 20 cubic meters, the safe distance from the civil building shall not be less than 40 meters. 45 meters away from residential areas, villages and towns, schools, theaters, stadiums and other important public buildings ( outermost exterior walls of buildings and structures );
2. when the total volume of the gas station is greater than 50 cubic meters and less than or equal to 200 cubic meters, and the single tank volume is less than or equal to 50 cubic meters, the safe distance from the civil building shall not be less than 45 meters. 50 meters away from residential areas, villages and towns, schools, theaters, stadiums and other important public buildings ( outermost exterior walls of buildings and structures );
3. when the total volume of the gas station is greater than 200 cubic meters and less than or equal to 500 cubic meters, and the single tank volume is less than or equal to 100 cubic meters, the safe distance from the civil building shall not be less than 50 meters. 70 meters away from residential areas, villages and towns, schools, theaters, stadiums and other important public buildings ( outermost exterior walls of buildings and structures );
4. when the total volume of the gas station is greater than 500 cubic meters and less than or equal to 1000 cubic meters, and the volume of a single tank is less than or equal to 200 cubic meters, the safe distance from the civil building shall not be less than 55 meters. 90 meters away from residential areas, villages and towns, schools, theaters, stadiums and other important public buildings ( outermost exterior walls of buildings and structures ).
